About Us

Kerry Kopp is the founder and director of Kerry Kopp Recruitment Specialists. She graduated with a B.Soc.Sc (Indus. Psychology) from the University of Natal in 1991. Kerry joined Corporate Personnel in Pietermaritzburg in 1991 as a Recruitment Consultant and moved to the United Kingdom in 1993. She worked for Alfred Marks Recruitment Consultants in their Industrial Sector managing temporary placements for a period of three years and later transferred to the City of London to specialise in permanent placements for the banking, advertising and Corporate Sectors, a position she held for two years.

Returning to South Africa, Kerry spent nine years working in the timber and saw milling sector in human resources, marketing and production. In August 2007 she ventured back into recruitment consulting, opening Kerry Kopp Recruitment Specialists in 2012.

Christy Watson joined the team as a Recruiter and Administrator in August 2014. She holds an Honours degree in Human Resources and offers a wealth of experience and understanding of in-house HR functions gained through her previous employment with Manline and Barloworld Transport.

Nombuso Ngcobo joined in March 2016 as our Office Co-ordinator and values the importance of being the first point of contact to the company. She has extensive experience in human resource administration and front office Customer service. Having previously worked for a recruitment agency and in Corporate, she understands the importance of Customer interface and efficiently attending to administrative tasks.

Calum McComb is an associate of Kerry Kopp Recruitment Specialists and the director and founder of PeopleSense. A registered Industrial Psychologist, he holds an M.Com degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology. Calum commenced his career with the Kelly Group and later joined Top Talent Solutions where he further refined the skills of his profession from some of South Africa’s finest Industrial Psychologists. His core specialty areas include psychometric assessments, talent management, career guidance, leadership development, and team dynamics. Calum has worked with large blue chip organisations as well as small and medium sized businesses across South Africa to help optimise their employees’ human potential.

Our in-house Industrial Psychologist provides a professional assessment service to measure and predict role and culture fit.
